As you may know, the first WI Sports Week is fast approaching (12th – 18th September 2016), so the NFWI are looking to hear from you!
They are planning a full week of activity on their social media accounts to promote and support the event, so they are on the hunt for contributions. They would love to hear about any activities you are taking part in, during the lead up to the event and throughout the Sports Week itself. Or you might have a story as to how sports and exercise have affected you or changed your life? Maybe the build up to Sports Week has helped to inspire you to try something new, or pushed you to alter your current level of activity. Do you have any advice, hints or tips on how to get into sport, or how to maintain fitness levels?
They are looking for anything and everything sports related, so if you’d like to get involved, send them over an email, no matter how long or short, and include photos if you like, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
They will be showcasing various members and WI groups each day of the week, taking part in an activity, sharing photos and stories to encourage and inspire other members. It’s set to be an exciting week!
