Monday Makes – PootlesPapercraft

After last week’s Monday Makes, we were so inspired to have a good look around on YouTube at some of the fantastic crafting channels. Today, we’ve got something a little different for you, and it is sure to please all of those paper craft fans out there. PootlesPapercraft is a channel for all things paper, and her video thumbnails are a real feast for the eyes. So if you’re into cards, stamping, decorative boxes and more, this is definitely the channel for you!

With an abundance of styles, patterns and designs to choose from, packaging up gifts has never felt so fun. Sam Hammond, the channels creator, makes it look so easy and the outcome is always so gorgeous that we can’t help but want to make them all! We love the look of these Petals & Paisley sloping boxes that would be ideal for little trinkets!

There are a wide variety of cards, like these pretty thank you cards, and even notebooks, like these adorable Christmas notebooks that would make a lovely DIY gift. And there’s still more! If it’s DIY storage you’re looking for, you can find things like these Extra Large Thinlits holders, or if you’re feeling seasonal, you can find items like this amazing Christmas advent calendar. There really is something for everyone!

untitledWe really love the way that Sam creates these videos, as she makes it so easy to see exactly how she carries out her projects. With her camera positioned above her table, we are given full view of the items she uses and her hands as she works away. She talks whilst she crafts, guiding us through her every move, and she is just so enthusiastic about it that it’s infectious! We’re itching to get out and buy as much paper and card as possible, and as many embellishments as we can carry!

If you’re as hooked on PootlesPapercraft as we are, then you can see more from her on Facebook and Twitter. She also writes a fabulous blog, where you can find all of her YouTube projects and so much more!
