Tales of the ‘Moonlight Dance’

What a fantastic meeting this week !

Tony Robinson had us on the edge of our seats with the secrets from his attic (part 2). Having discovered a Victorian treasure trove, he enthralled us with the hopelessly romantic story of Annie and Gus, their foibles and humanity, leaving us all wanting more. We don’t want to spoil the story for those of you who may hear Tony speak again, but roll on part 3 !!

If you missed the meeting you can read all about Tony’s finds and his journey to piecetogether this amazing story in his forthcoming book, ‘The Company of Dangerous Men’.

Many thanks to everyone who brought goods for the bring and buy table, it was a bumper evening with a great selection of items, including jewellery, plants, knitting patterns, books, Christmas (!) decorations, eggs and much more, . We are hoping everyone will get into the WI Autumn spirit and bring along home made preserves etc next time !

Looking forward to seeing you all in November !
