October is a month of firsts for our town of Stockton! We have been nominated for our first Rising Star award in the Great British High Street Awards, held our first Book Festival, and now, we will be hosting our first Heritage Fayre!
This will be the perfect event for people with a keen interest in the history of Stockton, and this fayre will focus on traditionally constructed homes from pre-1919 and during the inter-war years.
There is a whole schedule of events throughout the day, including a demonstration and talk on traditional Victorian sweet making, a presentation on ‘Stories from the High Street’, 1950s caravans from Beamish Museum, and more! Please click here to see the full list of events.
This is a completely free event, so don’t miss out! It’ll be running from 10am – 4pm on the high street, and it’s set to be a great day!
