It has been announced that the NFWI is collaborating with the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) to promote the Lonely Bouquet Campaign on National Flower Arranging Day, Friday 5 May 2017.
The idea of the Lonely Bouquet is to spread a little joy by making a small bouquet, or even just a single bloom, and leaving it somewhere for a random stranger to find. Bouquets can be tagged to give details of which WI (or Flower Club) made the bouquet with contact details. Last year 60,000 bouquets were made and distributed.
To see a step-by-step guide on where to get started with a bouquet, you can click here and sign in with your WI login details. You can also share your bouquet’s journey on Twitter and Facebook with the NFWI!
