Not in my Name Competition: White Ribbon Logo

The NFWI are aiming to raise awareness for White Ribbon Day in November (a campaign that seeks to end male violence against women) by running a creative and crafty competition.

They’d like members to create a White Ribbon logo in any medium, including art, so you could maybe do some quilting, felting or even pottery! Anything goes with this competition and you have until the 13th of October to submit your piece, so that’s plenty of time to have a good think about what you’d like to do.

Entries can be submitted to federation offices in Wales (federations will set their own deadlines) or directly to NFWI-Wales, 19 Cathedral Road, Cardiff CF11 9HA.  Submissions should include the following information:- Name and contact details of entrant; name of WI; name of Federation.

A certificate will be awarded to the winner and two runners-up, and a selection of entries will be on display at the Senedd on 21 November, the Royal Welsh Winter Fair in Llanelwedd on 27/28 November and at the 2018 Wales Conference.
