Monday Makes – K Werner Design

We’re sure that everyone has had that moment where they’re looking for the perfect card for someone, but just can’t quite find what you’re looking for. Sometimes, you might think that you could make a card better than those in the shops, and with K Werner Design, you can! This lovely lady talks about all things card making, papercraft and stationery, so if you’ve got a special occasion coming up, this is the channel to visit!

valentinesThere are a whole load of papercraft and card making channels on YouTube, so what makes Kristina’s different? Well, we absolutely love how inclusive she is. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a beginner or expert, on a budget or wanting to splash out, she takes the time for everyone. Just take a look at this video of budget-friendly card making tools and supplies. Or this one where she shows you how to make an easy Valentine’s card with very few supplies.

birdsWe also love how much variety is on the channel. It’s great for card making and papercraft, but did you know that Kristina also dabbles in brush lettering, calligraphy and water colour? You should definitely have a look at the playlist section of the channel to see a break down of all the different crafts she does! We particularly like watching the brush lettering videos, like this intro to brush markers. But of course, if it’s cards you’re after, we recommend watching this tutorial on how to achieve a partial die cut effect, or this easy peasy Christmas card tutorial. We definitely recommend having a good look through the channel if you’re interested in any of the crafts mentioned, though!

quoteWe really could spend all day just scrolling through Kristina’s channel. The designs she comes up with are just beautiful and eye-catching, so looking through her videos is a very colourful affair. Not only are her videos great, but she is just like a ray of sunshine. Her passion for the crafts she talks about oozes through and she is infectiously upbeat! We can’t wait to see more videos from her in the future.
