Monday Makes – bead crafts

How-to-make-a-beaded-flower-step-7We’ve covered a heck of a lot of crafts on this Monday Makes series, but we seem to have neglected beads! They’re one of those things that you love as a kid and continue to love as an adult, even if it’s just in the form of some beautiful shop-bought jewellery. We’ve put together a little list of some bead crafts for those of us who love beading and can’t get enough, or for those who would just like to look at some pretty creations!

Beaded wreath ornaments – yes, Christmas is just under a year away, but there’s no time like the present to get some inspiration!

Beaded wind chime – this is a gorgeous craft that can be done with kids. They’ll love jazzing up the wind chime and hanging it in the garden.

Wish bracelets – these would be perfect for selling at a fundraiser.

Mother’s Day suncatcher – this delicate little suncatcher is the perfect way to show your mum or a loved one how much they mean to you.

Beaded spiders – don’t be put off by the name of this project. These spiders are beautiful and could be turned into a stunning brooch!

Paper bead bracelet – want to have a go at making your own paper beads? Take a look at this tutorial.

Paint sample card paper beads – grab some paint sample cards from the local DIY shop and create some beautiful paper beads.

Beaded flowers – this is another project that can be turned into a brooch or another piece of jewellery, like a necklace!

Beaded advent calendar boxes – this link is for a purchasable pattern, but it’s worth clicking to see these little boxes! We can’t imagine how much time it must’ve taken to make them.
