Monday Makes – Last minute, quick Halloween crafts

1400976272206Here’s the situation – it’s October and you’d convinced yourself that you’d do some crafting for Halloween, but the month has been so busy and now it’s Halloween tomorrow, and you’ve done no crafting at all. Not to worry! This Monday Makes is packed full of ideas for quick crafts that you could easily do in a day, so that your home is ready for the spooky day!

Black sock cat – got any lone black socks in your drawer? Line your windowsill with these black sock cats!

Mummy wreath – we’ve been loving looking at Halloween wreaths and this one is ridiculously easy to do. It also requires very few materials, so it’s fab if you want to make something quick and cheap to go on your door.

Giant floating ghosts – imagine opening your door to trick or treaters and seeing their faces when you appear with these behind you?

Spooky bats and boo buckets – we like the ‘boo buckets’ in this post, but the spooky bats seem really simple to make and would look fab sticking out of hanging baskets or flowerpots by your front door.

Trash bag spiderwebs – who knew that you could create something so effective with just a bin bag and a pair of scissors?!

Halloween rocky road – there is no baking involved when making rocky road, so this is also a great craft to do with little ones. Plus, you can eat what you’ve made once it’s chilled!

Creepy eye roses – this is such a simple idea, but the results are great! Just pop these roses in a vase in your home or on a windowsill to creep out any guests.

No-carve pumpkin – we’ve written a whole other post all about decorating pumpkins instead of carving them. There’s a lot you can do and they don’t require as much effort as carving!

Halloween paper lanterns – this is a fab craft to do with kids and it’s also something that they can hold as they trick or treat.

Ghostie garland – garlands are a very popular decoration at the minute and this little ghostie garland is ideal for the season.
