Monday Makes – outdoors crafts

42caa27ddf954d30bf3bb19fa9180e20Now that the weather seems to finally be picking up for good, we think we should all spend a bit more time outside. This could be just soaking up some rays, gardening or doing a spot of crafting. We’re going to be sharing some ideas for the latter with you all today, so if you’ve got a bit of time over the next few days, then give one of these a go!

Nature weaving – this is ideal for doing with kids. They could pick up bits and bobs on a walk, then weave them all together at home to make a nature-filled canvas.

Milk carton herb garden – we’re all about recycling here at HVWI, so use your old milk cartons as a herb garden! Technically, this could be an indoor craft, but we think it’d be much nicer to do outside.

Tin can wind chime – take your time with decorating this wind chime to make it fit your personality and garden style!

Wooden spoon vegetable patch labels – if you grow your own fruits or vegetables, you need to make a bunch of these cute wooden spoon labels.

Biodegradable bird feeders – keeping our wildlife happy is very important and you can do this whilst caring for our planet with this bird feeders!

Clay impressions – these clay impressions can be used as coasters or your own piece of natural artwork.

Miniature fairy garden ideas – fairy gardens are perfect indoors and outdoors, but this post has a whole bunch of ideas to get you started with yours!

Beaded wind chime – if the tin can wind chime didn’t take your fancy, how about this sparkly one?
